The implementation of fair trials is one of the fundamental principles of an Islamic society. Considering the vital role of just adjudication in achieving the Islamic-Iranian model of development, this study examines the foundations of judicial virtue from the perspective of different legal schools of thought. The judicial framework in an Islamic society is structured to ensure that people's lives, property, and honor are not placed in the hands of unworthy individuals, and that individual and societal rights are not sacrificed for personal biases or the agendas of self-serving and deviant groups. The findings of this research indicate that the key characteristics of judicial virtue can be derived from the Holy Quran and the life of the Infallibles. These characteristics include fairness in adjudication, sincerity in action and self-discipline, good conduct and respectful treatment of others, upholding equality and justice in judgment and enforcement of rulings, responsibility and accountability towards rightful claimants, and firmness in judgment and dealing with offenders.
