The right to education, especially for women, is one of the fundamental issues in the field of human rights, accompanied by various challenges and opportunities. Women not only constitute half of the global population but also play a decisive role in raising future generations. This article examines the legal frameworks and constitutional requirements of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the provision of women's right to education by analyzing relevant documents and regulations. In the Islamic Republic of Iran, the right to education must be exercised within specific religious frameworks. This paper provides a detailed examination of these requirements and the implementation of the government's obligations concerning women's education. A review of both international and domestic documents and regulations reveals that the right to education for women cannot be defined solely as a negative obligation or a civil right. Rather, the realization of this right requires the support, protection, and proactive involvement of governments. Without such support, many women would be unable to enjoy the right to education. The dual nature of the right to education implies that a mere focus on gender equality in education is insufficient; it is essential to consider the specific needs and conditions of women in educational policymaking. Neglecting this issue may lead to overlooking gender differences and women's special needs in education, thereby limiting their access to this fundamental right.
